All the purpose of the marriage is to connect the family relation of her family to the husbands, so had political marriage. Their family was in a high status especially for Nohime and Lady Tsukiyama as they married people who were daimyos before marriage. As they were all living at the same time of era, they all portrayed different types of woman figure. Although, they all share the trait of have a lower status than men, especially their husband on how they have few records compared to their husband, as they did not really accomplish factors that helped Japan in an economic or political view. They lived as the supporters of the clan and their husband at the houses.

The wife of Toyotomi Hideoyoshi, Kitanomandokoro had the most connection with her husband as they were married the longest time, thus was the only wife that had children. They were married before Toyotomi Hideyoshi became the daimyo of Japan. There are several more journal articles written about her compared to the other two wives as she helped out in several political affairs with her husband. There are only a few writings on Nohime as she stayed to be a mysterious woman in Owari. The exact life and what Nohime accomplished is unknown, so she may not have taken part in political aspect but was a help to Oda Nobunaga on connecting the family clans to be peaceful. Tokugawa Ieyasu had several wives, so there are only a few records to his wives, but as his first wife that may have betrayed him for Oda Nobuyasu, Lady Tsukiyama’s record has been passed down by generations.
